Summer has finally arrived and we are soaking in every moment of it before our long awaited John Muir Trail trek.
We've gone on a couple more training hikes in preparation for the JMT
Here we are on Memorial Day weekend before heading to Coloumbine Springs for the night. We thoug
ht it would be super crowded but thankfully were the only ones at our site.

In true Bear Grylls fashion, Mark dug to find a water source.
He followed the dry creek bed and when he saw a damp spot, he dug down and found a good amount of water. We were relieved to have a good flow!
